Iraq. Groundwater, making the invisible visible

In the framework of 2022 World Water Day, COOPI – Cooperazione Internazionale in Iraq, together with Solidarités International and SEDO (Sahara Economic Development), is pleased to invite you to the debate “Groundwater – making the invisible visible”, that will be held on March 28th, at 9.30 am, in presence (at the French Institute -52V2+55R, Erbil), as well on line (here the link to join).

Programme:

  • Prof. Nahdir Al Ansary, “Water resources in Iraq”
  • Humat Dijlah, “The role of civil society in river protection in Iraq”
  • Nothern Technical University, “Impact of the water crisis on groundwater quality and possible mitigation measures”.

At the end of the debate, there will be the Opening of the photo- exhibition “Access to water services for conflict-affected populations in Iraq”, by the photographers Omar Adil and Mohammed Ali. The exhibition will be host by the French Institute of Erbil untill the 28th April (more info, here).
