Tragedy in Palestine. The appeal of the NGOs in LINK 2007

LINK 2007, the network that brings together 15 of Italy’s leading NGOs, including COOPI – Cooperazione Internazionale, has released a statement on the worsening humanitarian crisis in Palestine. The network stresses the urgent need to break the silence in the face of a tragedy that has gone far beyond the limits of what can be tolerated.

In its statement, LINK 2007 calls for an immediate and lasting ceasefire, the release of all hostages and full compliance with international humanitarian law. The appeal also urges Italian and European institutions to take a clear, courageous and principled stand, one that is consistent with the values of peace and human rights.
