Master in Cooperation and Development. Open applications in Pavia

Applications are now open for the 29th edition of the Second-Level Master’s Program in Cooperation and Development at the University of Pavia.

The deadline to submit your application is June 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM.

The program includes 500 hours of in-person and online classes and is held at the Almo Collegio Borromeo in Pavia. It also features a 3–6-month curricular internship with NGOs, international organizations, research centers, foundations and public or private institutions worldwide. Placements are carefully selected and proposed to students each year through a personalized tutorship program.

The Master’s is open to 30 students, both international and Italian, and is taught entirely in English.

It is part of the Cooperation and Development Network, a global network of Master's programs based in Italy, Kenya, Nepal, Colombia, and Palestine, aiming to train future professionals in international cooperation.

Scholarships, fee waivers, and financial contributions (covering part or all of the tuition fees) are available for outstanding or financially disadvantaged students.

The Master’s program is the result of a long-standing collaboration between the University of Pavia and three Italian NGOs, CISP, VIS, and COOPI – Cooperazione Internazionale and has been providing excellent academic training in the field of cooperation and development for nearly 30 years.

COOPI is part of the Consortium for Cooperation and Development, an initiative aimed at promoting high-quality education in this sector at the international level. Each year, COOPI also offers students the opportunity to undertake internships within its organization.
