What We Do

Social protection to the most vulnerable people in Amman, Irbid and Russeifeh

The project aims to strengthen social protection systems aimed at adolescents in Amman, Irbid and Zarqa Governorates, involved in child labor, victims or at risk of violence and at risk of early marriage.

Thanks to the presence of case managers and a psychologist, the project accompanies about 500 families to find solutions to ensure the school participation of adolescents and to reduce their risk in responding to their economic and social vulnerability with negative adjustment practices, such as child labor, early marriages, negligence and violence. For the most vulnerable cases, financial support is provided to cover the most imminent protection needs and school support.

The initiative, implemented in consortium with the Institute of University Cooperation (ICU) and the Jordanian organization Noor al Hussein Foundation, aims to provide a tangible benefit to the entire community in the area with integrated protection services available to adolescents and their families.
