Ten years of Coopi Suisse
COOPI - Cooperazione Internazionale is pleased to announce the 10th anniversary of COOPI Suisse, the Lugano-based humanitarian organisation that is part of the COOPI network.
The first ten years of activity will be inaugurated on 8 June at 6 p.m. at the Centro San Giuseppe in Lugano, Via Cantonale 2A.
After the greetings of Giampiero Gianella of the FOSIT committee (Federation of Swiss Italian NGOs), Claudio Ceravolo, President of the COOPI Foundation, and Sabrina Antorini Massa, Director of the Social Affairs Division of Lugano, the President of Coopi Suisse Carla Ricci will introduce the video "COOPI Suisse, 10 years of activity".
Then, the conference "Food Insecurity in Sub-Saharan Africa at the Time of Covid and War" will take place. Professor Maria Sassi will host the lecture. She is Professor at the University of Pavia in Food Economics, Agricultural Development and Quantitative Policy Analysis for Development and Researcher for the European Union. The moderator will be the journalist Daniele Piazza, parliamentary correspondent for more than 30 years in Bern for RSI, Swiss Radiotelevision in Italian.

Over the years, COOPI Suisse has been committed to the protection of children, the promotion of renewable energy, the fight against malnutrition and the access to water and food for the most vulnerable communities in 13 countries in the South of the world.
COOPI had a positive intuition to promote it in 2012. Given the results COOPI Suisse has achieved, COOPI is very proud to have been part to its promotion back then.
